Michael Ciaccio, Special Gaming Counsel in the Boca Raton office of Proskauer Rose LLP., has represented commercial and Native American owned enterprises in the acquisition, development and operation of commercial and Native American owned casinos. Ciaccio also has experience in real estate and hospitality, representing sellers, purchasers, lenders, landlords and tenants in various transactions. Ciaccio formerly served as Vice President and General Counsel of the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority in Uncasville, Connecticut. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served as the Associate Editor of the Inter-American Law Review. Ciaccio also holds a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University. Ciaccio teaches Gaming Law, a course on the legal issues associated with state, commercial and Indian gaming enterprises.
