Jodi B. Laurence is a board certified health law attorney with extensive healthcare executive experience and is a founding partner of Florida Health Law Center. Ms. Laurence has significant experience in all aspects of health law, including the formation of joint ventures and multi-specialty group practices, mergers and acquisitions, contracting, corporate compliance and fraud and abuse issues. She has represented hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, health care corporations, managed care entities and accountable care organizations.
Formerly, Ms Laurence was General Counsel for Mount Sinai Medical Center, Radiology Corporation of America and Miami Children’s Hospital. She has lectured frequently on Health Care law and has taught in Nova Southeastern University’s Institute of Continuing Management for Health Care Professionals. She is an active member of the American Health Lawyers Association, and is a member of the Executive Council of the Health Law Section of the Florida Bar and has organized and lectured at the Health Law Certification Review Course for over 10 years. She has achieved the highest “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell and was named Attorney of the Year 2015 and Best Lawyers in America 2015.
At Miami Law she teaches Health Law Fundamentals.
