James Gailey

Adjunct Faculty, J.D. Program

James Gailey has been a criminal defense lawyer and civil trial lawyer for 30 years. He practices in the areas of narcotics, white collar crime, money laundering, mortgage fraud, and healthcare fraud. Gailey is a former federal prosecutor and former federal public defender in the Southern District of Florida. As a prosecutor, Mr. Gailey received an Attorney General's Commendation as well as a Department of Justice Special Achievement Award. He has also been recognized internationally for his trial skills and has been involved in training programs for criminal defense lawyers in Europe who are involved in criminal defense of war crimes before the international tribunal. Mr. Gailey teaches Trial Competition Workshop with Terrence Anderson.
