William H. Widen, Professor of Law, was a partner at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York until 2002, where his practice areas included structured finance and secured lending.

A cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review, Professor Widen clerked in 1983-1984 for Levin Campbell, Chief Judge of the First Circuit Court of Appeals.

Professor Widen teaches commercial law, contracts, and other business subjects.
