Helga Audunsdottir, a Visiting Associate Professor for the 2010-2011 academic year, was born and raised in Iceland. In addition to her LL.M. degree in International Law with a specialization in U.S. and Transnational Law from the University of Miami, Professor Audunsdottir holds a Masters degree in Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Law from Bifrost University in Iceland. She wrote her master's thesis on Essential Facilities in Competition Law, and her bachelor's thesis on Universal Banking. In 2004 she studied International Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. Prior to coming to Miami, she was the Legal Director in an international investment company in Iceland, specializing in Corporate and Competition Law, and she co-taught a course on research and writing at Bifrost University.
