Robert E. Rosen, professor of law, earned an A.B. from Harvard College in 1974, an M.A. in sociology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1977, a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1979, and a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1984.

He joined the faculty in 1984.

During the 1987-88 academic year, Professor Rosen was on leave at Harvard University as a fellow in Harvard's Program in Ethics and the Professions, and in 1994 he was a research scholar at Stanford Law School.

He teaches courses in professional responsibility, business associations, children and the law, sociology of law, contracts.
