Farrin Anello is a Lecturer in Law and Supervising Attorney at the University of Miami School of Law Immigration Clinic. Before coming to the University of Miami, she worked at the ACLU Immigrants' Rights Project in New York as a Skadden Fellow. She previously worked as a litigation associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLC and served as a law clerk to Judge Janet C. Hall of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and Judge Denise Cote of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

She attended Yale College and Yale Law School, where she was a student director of the Immigration Legal Services Clinic, a member of the National Litigation Project of the Allard K. Lowenstein Human Rights Clinic, and an editor for the Yale Law Journal.

She received the Charles G. Albom Prize for appellate advocacy in connection with her clinical work. She is a director of the Refugee Reunification Project Fund, which provides travel grants to support reunification of asylees and their families.
