Sandy Abraham holds a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and an M.B.A. and M.A. from the University of Chicago. She was Assistant Dean of the Graduate School at the University of Miami from 2007 to January 2010, when she joined the School of Law.
Prior to moving to Miami, she worked for Educational Testing Service in Princeton, New Jersey. Having spent much of her professional life there, she worked in many areas of the organization in different capacities.
She was an Executive Director of Performance Scoring Services, a Client Rep in the Information Systems arena, the ETS Liaison to an ETS for-profit subsidiary, a Business Consultant in the teaching certification division, the Assistant Director of the Office of Corporate Quality Assurance, a Director of Special Projects for Information Technology, and a Department Manager for IT Standards and Policies.
She also spent several years working for Amerada Hess, Squibb Pharmaceuticals, Sargent and Lundy Engineering, and the City of Chicago Datacenter.
