Sandra Friedrich obtained her maîtrise en droit, the French Juris Doctor equivalent, and her LL.M. in 2005 after four years of law studies at the Universities of Cologne and Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. She focused on international, comparative and European Union law. In May 2008, she completed her J.D. at the University of Miami School of Law after two years of graduate work in the Comparative Law LL.M. and J.D. programs.

Professor Friedrich completed internships at the German Consulate General in Los Angeles; Diaz Reus in Miami; and WilmerHale LLP in London. During the Fall 2008 semester, Professor Friedrich will teach Introduction to German Law.
