M. Minnette Massey, Professor of Law, received a B.B.A. in 1948, an LL.B. in 1951, and an M.A. in 1952, all from the University of Miami, and an LL.M. in 1958 from New York University, where she was a Kenison Fellow. She joined the Miami faculty upon graduation from law school in 1951, and served as Acting Dean from 1962 to 1965. She is a member of the American Law Institute, and has served on the NCAA Committee on Infractions and the Federal Judicial Nominating Committee. Author of three books and numerous articles on civil procedure and federal jurisdiction, Professor Massey teaches courses in those fields.
