Professor Bernard H. Oxman delivers the Solemn Declaration at The Hague. Professor Oxman, the Richard A. Hausler Professor of Law, made the solemn declaration in the Great Hall of Justice in the Peace Palace at The Hague on September 2, 2008 during his first public sitting as judge ad hoc of the International Court of Justice. Professor Bruce J. Winick presents a series of fall lectures and is appointed to boards of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law and Miami Lighthouse. Professor Winick presented lectures at the Max Planck Institute and several Law School events throughout the fall 2008 semester. In addition, he was appointed to the boards of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law and the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Full Story.

Professor Bruce J. Winick elected to lead AALS Section on Balance in Legal Education. Professor Winick was elected to lead the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) Section on Balance in Legal Education. He will become chair of the Section in January 2009.
