Publications

 

Dennis O. Lynch, Dean Emeritus and Professor of Law, holds a B.A. from the University of Oregon, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and J.S.D. and LL.M. degrees from Yale Law School.  Professor Lynch was also a Fulbright Scholar in economics in Venezuela.  His areas of specialization are Law and Development with a focus on Latin America, Labor Law and Labor Arbitration, and Civil Procedure. On the faculty of the University of Miami School of Law from 1974-90, he joined the University of Denver College of Law as dean in 1990.  He returned to Miami as dean in 1999, serving in that role until August 2008.

 

Professor Lynch has served on the Accreditation Committee of the Section of Legal Education and Admission to the Bar, and since 2006 he has been a member of the Council of the Section.  He is also a member of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) Resource Corps.  Additionally, he served on the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) Board of Trustees and from 2005-2007, he was secretary of the LSAC Board.
