Michelle Valencia, director of publications, holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication (majoring in News-Editorial Journalism and English) and a Master of Science in Higher Education degrees from the University of Miami.  Prior to her role as director of publications at the School of Law, she worked for nearly 20 years in the University of Miami’s Office of Advancement, first as a researcher and writer, and then as its Director of Development Communications, where she led a team of five writers and communication specialists for ten years.
