The University of Miami School of Law Career Development Office (CDO) provides relevant counsel to students with disabilities.  The Office of Disability Services (ODS) and the CDO work together to counsel and assist students as they explore possible career paths.  To discuss issues related to disability services and the career search, please contact Sarah Klein, Assistant Director in the CDO.   If you would like for the Coordinator of the Office of Disability Services to be present at your appointment to help with discussions concerning accommodations, disclosure, etc. please mention that when you are making your appointment.

The Career Development Office encourages students to attend the IMPACT Career Fair, held in early August in Washington, D.C. This fair is geared specifically towards law students and lawyers with disabilities.  For more information about IMPACT, please contact Sarah Klein.

Additionally, the University of Miami School of Law participates in the Workforce Recruitment Program. Students with disabilities interested in pursuing internships or careers in the government should email Sarah Klein for more information. On campus interviews for the program are held in January or February.
