Information for Non-OCI Job
Seekers
(2L, 3L)
Some suggestions
for what you can do to find a summer job.
Read the Daily
Business Review and the Florida Bar News (both available in CPC) for updates on
the legal profession in Miami. Knowing what's happening in the market will help
you be informed for your job search and will allow you to better target your

Check out The Harvard College Guide to Careers in Government and Politics
and America's Greatest Places to Work with a Law Degree (both in CPC) for ideas
on where to look for jobs this summer. (Even though the focus of those books may
be permanent jobs, they will give you ideas for summer employment places).
2.)
Look at www.PSLawnet.org for great public interest summer internships.
3.)
Peruse CPC's Resource Room for journals, magazines, books and reference
materials that can help give you ideas.
