In 1997, the Entertainment and Sports Law Society hosted its first Entertainment and Sports Law Symposium. Since then, the Symposium has grown into a full-scale event where law students and professionals take part in a forum to discuss current legal issues in sports, entertainment, intellectual property, the arts, and the media.
Some of the most well-known local and national attorneys, faculty, agents, legal advisers, athletes, and entertainers serve as panelists, lead Q-and-A sessions, and foster academic debate. Additionally, the symposium offers our students a venue to meet and network with professionals working in the types of careers they would like to pursue. Lastly, the event serves as an invaluable opportunity for alumni and local firms to connect with aspiring attorneys and agents.
We hope you will join us Saturday, April 6, 2013 for the 16th Annual Miami Law ESLS Entertainment & Sports Law Symposium to be held at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Miami.
