SYMPLICITY ONLINE JOB POSTING DATABASE
Access Symplicity
The Career Development Office maintains its own online job posting database on Symplicity , a password protected site. Available on Symplicity are summer and school year positions for students as well as post-graduate attorney positions. All UM law students and graduates have access to Symplicity. To obtain your username and password, please email dijones@law.miami.edu with your full name, graduation month/year, C-number or Cane ID number and preferred email address.
Alumni: If you do not know your Cane I.D., please visit the main university website at www.miami.edu. Click on “Quick Links” located on the left-hand side, “my UM,” and follow the instructions to retrieve your Cane I.D. or create a new one.

The Intercollegiate Job Bank is the result of a consortium of member law schools around the country who share job postings for post-graduate positions. This is a useful tool if you are seeking a position elsewhere in the United States. A username and password is necessary to access the above link. The Career Development Office maintains a page that lists opportunities in the public sector. If you are considering a job or internship in the public interest field please look at the on-line public Interest opportunities page. Additionally, the CDO is a member of PSLawnet, the online resource connecting public interest law job-seekers with their ideal opportunities in the public interest arena, in government, at law schools, and around the globe.
