Where are you coming from?

 

  • Directions from the north via the Turnpike or I-75
  • VIA THE TURNPIKE: Take the TURNPIKE SOUTH to 836 EAST. From 836 EAST get on 826 SOUTH. Just past the Bird Road exit, 826 SOUTH will split. Stay RIGHT toward Kendall. Get off at the very first exit, which is MILLER ROAD/S.W. 56th STREET. Take a LEFT at the bottom of the ramp and continue on Miller until it ends at San Amaro Drive (approximately 4 miles). Take a LEFT onto San Amaro. The School of Law is a half a block down on the RIGHT.

    VIA 75 SOUTH: Take 75 SOUTH to 826 SOUTH. Follow instructions above from 826 SOUTH.

    IF YOU HAVE A PARKING PERMIT: Parking passes are available to visiting prospective law students at no cost in the Office of Admissions and Recruiting, 1311 Miller Drive, Room F203. Alternately, you may go directly to the Parking Garage on Ponce de Leon and buy a pass for $5. You may park in any open space in the lots surrounding the Law School building; however, do not park in a disabled space, a fire lane, or at a meter or YOU WILL BE fined or TOWED. The Law School lots are often full during peak hour. If you cannot find parking in this area, we suggest you go directly to the Garage on Ponce de Leon park (there is often space on the upper level until 10:00 am during peak hours) or at Lot 42 across from the Ponce Garage. There is a shuttle service operating from this lot. You MAY NOT use the parking permit at a meter.

    IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PARKING PERMIT: We suggest you go directly to the Parking Garage on Ponce de Leon to buy a pass and park. Take the Shuttle bus marked "Fountain" to the School of Law. There are four (4) temporary day pass vending machines located on the Coral Gables campus: just inside the entrance to the Ponce de Leon Garage, at the Stanford Drive information booth, near the elevator at the Pavia Garage, and in the Convocation Center North parking lot. Passes are available via cash payment for one to five days, in twenty-four hour periods (rather than calendar days), at a cost of $5 per 24 hours. The machines are available twenty four hours per day, and operate just as standard vending machines except that the selection must be made before inserting any money. Please remember to place the pass face up on your dashboard while parked on campus. Temporary passes are valid in all standard Commuter and Residential lots, as well as all discount lots, on the Coral Gables campus. Temporary passes are not valid in Resident Only lots, at parking meters, or in Reserved Spaces, Service Spaces, or any other specially marked spaces.

    PARKING DURING PEAK HOURS IS LIMITED. If you are visiting during peak hours, it is strongly suggested that you go directly to the Garage on Ponce de Leon. if this is full, proceed to lot 42 across from the Ponce Garage. Shuttle buses marked FOUNTAIN from the garage and Lot 42 will bring you directly to the School of Law.

    DIRECTIONS TO THE GARAGE ON PONCE DE LEON: Follow directions above from the Turnpike, but when you reach San Amaro drive go Right. Follow San Amaro to the end which is Ponce de Leon. Take a LEFT onto Ponce and at the Second light, the Garage will be on your RIGHT. Take the Shuttle bus marked EXPRESS or FOUNTAIN. Parking permits may be bought at a vending machine in the Garage for a cost of $5.

    WEEKEND EVENTS: Parking permits are not necessary on the weekends, and barring special events, spaces should be ample. For more information on visitor parking, Click Here.

    PLEASE LEAVE YOURSELF ADEQUATE TIME FOR PARKING. A MINIMUM OF ONE HALF-HOUR IS SUGGESTED. If you have made arrangements for a tour or class visit through the Office of Student Recruiting, report to Room F203, school of law.

  • Directions via I-95 from the north (Traveling from the Beaches and Ft. Lauderdale)
  • Take I-95 South. Stay in the middle lane as there are exits on the left and right. Continue past downtown Miami and follow the signs for US 1/South Dixie Highway. Shortly after passing downtown, I-95 will merge into US 1/South Dixie Highway. Stay on US 1 for approximately 4.5 miles. At Stanford Drive take a RIGHT and then an immediate LEFT onto Ponce de Leon Boulevard. At San Amaro Drive (third light), go RIGHT. Follow San Amaro, pass through the first light at Miller Road (which enters on the left), and take the next RIGHT into the Law School parking lot. The Law School is directly on your left.

  • Directions from Miami International Airport
  • As you exit the airport terminal, take the exit which reads South/LeJeune/836 West/ Coral Gables. Stay on LeJeune Road Southbound for several miles. At US 1, also known as South Dixie Highway, make a RIGHT. Stay on US 1 for about one mile. At Stanford Drive take a RIGHT and then an immediate LEFT onto Ponce de Leon Boulevard. Go RIGHT on San Amaro Drive (third light). Follow San Amaro, and after passing through the first light (Miller Drive will enter from the left), take the next RIGHT into the Law School parking lot. The Law School will be directly on your left.

  • Directions from Kendall and Points South
  • If you are on US 1 heading North, take a LEFT onto SW 57th Avenue/Red Road followed by an immediate right onto Ponce de Leon Boulevard. At San Amaro Drive (first light), go LEFT. Follow San Amaro Drive, pass through the first light at Miller Road (on the left), and take the First Right into the Law School parking lot. The Law School is directly on your left.

    If you are on 826 North, get off at Bird Road and take a Right at the bottom of the long ramp. Continue on Bird several miles and at SW 57th Avenue/Red Road take a RIGHT. Continue on SW 57th (1-2 miles), and at the light at Miller Road go LEFT. At the light (San Amaro), go LEFT and 1/2 block down on your RIGHT is the entrance to the Law School parking lot.
