Hon. N. James Turner, JD ’75, LLM ’78, was elected Circuit Judge for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Osceola and Orange Counties.  02.09

 

Carey M. Fischer, JD ’75, was named president-elect of the Ft. Lauderdale Chapter of the American Board of Trail Advocates. 02.09

 

Alan Kluger, JD ’75, was recognized by Florida Super Lawyers 2008 Magazine in the area of litigation and dispute resolution.

 

Abbey Kaplan, JD ’75, was recognized by Florida Super Lawyers 2008 Magazine in the area of litigation and dispute resolution. 

 

Harrison J. Gordon, JD '75, was selected as one of the Top 100 Super Lawyer's of New Jersey. 5/23/2007

 

H. George Kagan, JD '75, was appointed to a two year term as the chair of the Nation Workers Compensation Committee of the Defense Research Institute. 12/12/2007

 

Alan Kluger, JD '75, was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2008 in the area of litigation and dispute resolution. 9/10/2007

 

Thomas Newcomb Hyde, JD '75, spoke at the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals Annual Forensic Conference in Nashville, TN on the topic of effective testimony for vocational experts. He also published an article in The Rehabilitation Professional. He also received the "Have a Heart Award" for pro bono service from the Hillsborough County Bar Association. 11/13/2006

 

Elliot H. Sherker, AB '72, JD '75, was selected to the Daily Business Review's "2006 Most Effective Lawyers." 12/14/2006

 

Bernard Siegel, JD '75, has become actively involved in the area of cloning, stem cell research, and the law. He has participated in various conferences and summits regarding these issues. 12/12/2007

 

Michael O. Weisz, JD '75, joined the Miami office of Berger Singerman as a shareholder with the Dispute Resolution Team. 12/12/2007

 

Richard David Donlin, JD ’75, has written a novel entitled My Cuban Princess published by Outskirts Press, which follows the story of one man’s twelve year search to find a Cuban Princess, if she exists, and to convince her to fall in love with him. 2.28.08
