Richard N. Friedman, JD ’65, was commissioned a Kentucky colonel on December 29, 2008, by Kentucky Governor Steven L. Beshear. The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels was founded in 1932 and is a charitable organization contributing money to worthy causes. 02.09
Bennett H. Brummer, JD ’65, was honored by the Miami-Dade Commission for his outstanding career in public service with the naming of the headquarters of the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office the “Bennett H. Brummer Building.”
