Application to the Juris Doctor Program
You may apply electronically or in hard copy per the instructions below.
1) Applying Electronically (Preferred Method):
Miami’s electronic application is now exclusively available as part of your LSDAS registration and is a very convenient way to apply. All applicants are required to register for LSDAS. Once you have registered for LSDAS, information you provide to LSAC will automatically flow to your law school application, which can then be electronically packaged with your transcripts, LSAT score, letters of recommendation and personal statement, significantly streamlining your application process. This easy and efficient option allows you to work on and save your application until you are ready to submit it electronically. LSAC's secure technology ensures that your personal information remains encrypted as it is transported across the Internet and can be referred to at your convenience through your LSAC account. When using the LSAC’s electronic service, you may pay by credit card and electronic signature, or you may pay by check and mail in the required certification form.
