Fall Exam Workshop Series
Have you been wondering why you are getting C's on exams when you are certain you should be earning A's and B's? If so, you should register for and attend the Academic Achievement Program's Spring Exam Workshop Series. This resource is available to ALL students (1L, 2L, 3L and LL.M.).
Students who have participated in similar workshop sessions offered by the AAP have found them extremely helpful. The key to a successful exam is understanding how to structure and draft a good exam answer. Participants can expect to work on developing critical and analytical thinking, issue spotting, organizational and writing skills designed to assist students in preparing for and completing law school examinations.
Students may register for and attend either of the two weekly workshop sessions. Registration forms are available in the Dean of Students' Office and students may also register by attending one of the regularly scheduled workshops and completing a registration form.
This is not a "drop in" program. Regular attendance is a must, as weekly sessions will build upon skills developed throughout the semester. First year students are also expected to attend regular weekly AAP Dean's Fellow Study Groups for substantive classes. All participants should also plan to visit the AAP Writing Center (room 209A) for individual writing assistance.
